This working paper presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis of material flow in the dairy supply chain in Ontario and describes the supply management system that governs the transactions within the supply chain. This study can be used as a basis for future studies to identify opportunities within supply management flows, improve the dairy supply chain in Ontario, identify potential vulnerabilities in the supply chain, to serve as a benchmark for studies of other supply chains.
