While working as a co-op student for the University of Alberta, Michael provided support as a database developer for the project entitled: "FracFocus Fracking Chemicals Database". EEPRN provided part of the funding that supported his work on this project. This work was completed under the supervision of Joel Gehman.

Michael is currently completing his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta.
