Lauren is completing a Masters of Arts in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa.
Lauren’s research at the Smart Prosperity Institute seeks to understand how residential retrofit programs can be adjusted to improve energy savings and hit deeper GHG goals in Canada. In addition to her work at the Institute, Lauren is researching the effects of early life environmental exposure to Methylmercury (MeHg) on education outcomes within First Nations communities in Canada.
She is providing research support for a project entitled: “A meta-analysis of green home retrofit programs in Canada, the United States, and Europe” under the supervision of Nicholas Rivers.
