Kayla received her B.S. in International and Comparative Politics as well as an M.A. in Environmental Politics and Policy Analysis from Appalachian State University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science at Purdue University, with a concentration in Ecological Sciences and Engineering (ESE). Her current research interests focus on opinions about climate change, particularly among youth, and how they can influence political behavior.
Kayla provided research support for an EEPRN project entitled: "The Politics of Carbon Pricing in the Canadian Federation". This work was completed under the supervision of Leigh Raymond.
