Samantha McRae

EEPRN and Greening Growth Partnership Student Researcher, 2021

Samantha is an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Department of Political Science at the University of New Brunswick. She is currently working towards her final year of an Honors in Political Science with a Minor in International Development Studies. It was at the University of New Brunswick that Samantha developed a passion for the intersectionality of human development, climate change and government. She has spent time in Central America and Europe learning about water systems and different governments around the world.  

Samantha is assisting in researching the design and implementation of provincial renewable procurement standards in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She is eager to apply her knowledge from her four years of undergraduate studies to further investigate key issues in her place of residence. 

Samantha is involved in a project called, "Generating Positive Feedback: Renewable Procurement Design and Implementation in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick 2006-2020",  with Heather Millar
