Evan is working towards a Master of Science Degree in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Alberta. His research for the Future Energy Systems program has focused on integrated assessment modelling, with particular attention to the role of Canadian hydropower in energy transitions. Before his Master’s program, Evan spent time working in remote Northwest Territories on abandoned mine site remediation. 

Evan is working with SPI on a project titled: “Analysis of Net-Zero Pathways with the New GCAM-Canada Model” under the supervision of Dr. Evan Davies. The work will build on model development by fellow researcher, Ph.D. candidate Diego Chiappori.
