EEPRN and Greening Growth Partnership Student Researcher 2020-2021

Ruby is an undergraduate student in a dual degree program, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Business Administration (HBA) and Bachelor of Medical Sciences in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences (BMSc) at Ivey Business School and Western University. Ruby is interested in sustainable supply chains and operations, recognizing the interdependent relationships between business practices, society, and environmental and human health.

Ruby is providing research support for a technical note about extended producer responsibility (EPR) regulation in Canada with some comparison to the United States under the supervision of Deishin Lee and Jury Gualandris. Her work focuses on understanding how EPR regulation impacts the reverse supply chain and considerations when redesigning the waste management system.
