With two Master’s in Economics, Seyedmehdi's areas of interest are centered around data analysis, energy and environmental economics, public economics, econometrics, and modelling. Seyedmehdi conducted different projects during his studies and professional work experience. His academic research is focused on energy price setting policy using micro-level dataset. Most recently, Seyedmehdi worked as a research assistant at TeIAS institute, Iran. Working as a RA, he mostly focused on analyzing the dataset related to energy sectors with a focus on micro-level institutions. Seyedmehdi holds a Master's degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University, where he also worked as a Teacher Assistant.
