The report will provide actionable guidance and recommendations for how governments and other stakeholders can improve species at risk recovery work in Canada. This presentation will discuss a few key recommendations from the report, including making greater use of economic instruments, multispecies and ecosystem-based approaches, and using new funding tools for SAR conservation. It will also discuss why a new message is needed to advance the nature conservation agenda in Canada.
