They will be part of an inter-disciplinary team at the Institute of the Environment, which is home to the Smart Prosperity Institute, Canada’s world-class environment-economy think tank and research network.

General Eligibility Requirements:

• American Citizenship
• A Ph.D. or equivalent professional degree, or significant professional experience
• The University of Ottawa is an English-speaking institution, however, some resource material may be in French. French is not required but would be an asset

Award Details:

• Grant length: 1 semester (4 months)
• Awards are taken up September 2020 or January 2021
• Deadline to apply extended to September 16^th, 2019
• Stipend of up to $25,000 USD
• Grantees on 4-month exchanges may seek an unfunded extension for up to 8 months

All awards are subject to the availability of funding, approval by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB), and compliance with FFSB and USG guidelines.
