Anil Gogebakan is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Calgary. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Bogazici University, where he graduated with honors. His research interests concentrate on the intersection of international trade, environmental, and energy economics, with a special focus on air pollution. His current research examines the role of energy misallocation on welfare loss. As an active user of Stata and Python, he combines economic modeling, empirical estimation, and data analysis in his work. He has presented his research at several prominent conferences, showcasing his expertise and dedication to advancing economic knowledge.
