Daniel Rosenbloom

EEPRN Student Researcher, 2017-2018

Daniel is a PhD candidate in public policy at Carleton University working on the transition to a low-carbon energy system in Canada. He is particularly interested in the way in which choices about policy and energy innovations shape pathways toward low-carbon futures. Prior to undertaking a PhD, Daniel worked as a research associate in sustainable energy policy at Carleton where he collaborated with a team of researchers investigating the prospects for solar photovoltaic technologies. His research has appeared in Global Environmental Change, Research Policy, Energy Policy, Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions, Energy Research & Social Science, and other high impact journals.

During his work with SPI, he conducted research for an EEPRN project entitled: "Stability and climate policy? Harnessing insights on path dependency, policy feedback, and transition pathways to help accelerate the low-carbon transition". This work was completed under the supervision of Ben Cashore and James Meadowcroft
