Mowat Centre and Smart Prosperity Institute are working together to raise awareness and spark discussions on decent work considerations in the transition to a green economy.  This project looks at different ways in which the shift to a green economy may impact employment opportunities and the nature of work in Ontario -- including looking at both the types of jobs being created within emerging and expanding green sectors, as well as identifying those workers that are most vulnerable to a green transition.  It also explores how policy intervention could help ensure that Ontario’s green transition supports decent work.
