William Scott

Research Associate

Will received a BA in Social Sciences at the University of Western Ontario before moving to Australia where he completed a Masters in Environmental Economics and Policy at Griffith University. There, he took particular interest in PES schemes to reduce agricultural runoff impacts on the Great Barrier Reef and examining the potential impacts of various carbon pricing scenarios on bitumen extraction and refinement in Alberta.

Most recently Will has been working for the United Nations Environment Programme under Advisory Services and PAGE, supporting countries in their efforts to transition toward a green economy through capacity building, policy assessment, and macro-economic modelling. Outside of the office he can be found travelling, hiking, reading, or playing any sport available.
