Dr. Vachon is currently the Chair of the Masters of Environmental and Sustainability (MES) program and the Director of the Centre for Environment and Sustainability at Western University. He is also an Associate Professor at the Ivey Business School. He joined Western University in 2011 after being a faculty member for three years at Clarkson University (2003-2006) and five years at HEC Montreal (2006-2011) where he was a Department Chair (Operations Management). Stephan’s research pertains to different facets of sustainable supply chains and includes the 2017 Best Conceptual Paper Award from the Journal of Supply Chain Management. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Supply Chain Management, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and the Engineering Management Review (an IEEE journal). He was recently designated as a Western University Faculty Scholar for his research and service contributions.
