Jessica is a Research Associate at SPI on the Land-Use, Nature, and Agriculture (LUNA) team. She holds a BSc in Biology from Queen’s University, and an MSc in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Ottawa. Jessica has experience in resource management; She has worked as a wildlife intern in the coal industry, and wrote her master’s dissertation on the impacts of lithium brine mining to surrounding ecosystems. Jessica is also interested in the implementation of the circular economy, and the relationship between public health, urban planning and the environment. When she’s not working, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and running.
