Teslin is a Research Associate at the Smart Prosperity Institute. She is a DAAD Public Policy and Good Governance Scholar and has a Masters in Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Germany. She also has a BA LLb (Hons.) degree and is a lawyer called to the Bar in India. Teslinbrings over six years of international experience to SPI including as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of the Indian federal Parliament. Prior to joining SPI, she was a Public Affairs consultant and provided government relations advise to Fortune 500 companies. Her prior work has focussed on studying the environmental impact of extractive industries, studying the resilience of market-based instruments for pricing carbon and analysing the long-term impact of plastic regulation on reducing consumption. Outside of work, Teslin enjoys cooking, hiking and learning new languages.
