The Global Fellows and Research Program in Clean Innovation is funded by the Jarislowsky Foundation and hosted by uOttawa’s Institute of the Environment in partnership with Smart Prosperity Institute (SPI). Through year-long Global Fellow appointments, top international scholars and Canadian non-academic experts are enabled to focus more of their time and research efforts on clean innovation as it relates to the Canadian context. Emphasis is placed on collaboration with Canadian scholars, supervision and training of Canadian graduate students, as well as knowledge sharing with Canadian governments and businesses, all contributing to fast-tracking Canada’s emerging research capacity and expertise in clean innovation.
