About Us
‘Invest in Nature Hub’ is a soon to be launched and branded multi-stakeholder initiative, hosted by The Natural Step Canada and the Smart Prosperity Institute, that aspires to help Canada achieve a fivefold growth in investment towards conservation, restoration, sustainable ecosystem management, and nature based solutions by directly and indirectly catalyzing new public and private funding through the collective and collaborative efforts of a diverse mix of member organizations. Consultation with prospective members provided enough confidence to say that one of the areas of focus for the hub will be advancing climate smart, nature positive agriculture practices in Canada. This means working on promoting sustainable management of agricultural land and projects and investment that lead to the scaling up of nature-based solutions in agriculture.

We are seeking a confident and passionate Senior Program Officer to support the Director of Agriculture and Food Systems full time with the coordination and delivery of projects for nature-positive agriculture practices in Canada. In particular, supporting the delivery of an initiative to create a national industry-led multi-stakeholder alliance for a net zero agri-food system in Canada and associated pilot projects. The ideal candidate is action and detail-oriented, with experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
