How can we build a more circular economy for Canada?

On July 18, Alice Irene Whittaker, Director of Communications at Smart Prosperity Institute and the Circular Economy Leadership Coalition, spoke with CBC News Network host Natasha Fatah for a televised segment on how the COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping the world and bolstering calls for a more circular economy.

Whittaker discussed hot-button issues such as fast fashion and food production and waste, and outlined how we must seize the opportunity presented by a circular economy to enhance social, environmental, and economic well-being to make us more resilient in a post-COVID world.
