Much of that debate is based on unclear and inadequate information. Nowhere is the problem more acute than on the issue of pricing, and in particular on what is causing electricity prices to increase in the province. This background report is intended to de-mystify and explain the drivers of electricity cost increases in Ontario, with a view to contributing to a full and informed public debate on the subject.
